WHO WE ARE

Built where research meets the market.

EST. LEKKI, LAGOS

Silicon Lekki started with a simple observation: Nigerian universities produce world-class research that almost never becomes a company. The results are published, cited — and shelved. Not for lack of ambition, but for lack of structure: licensing frameworks, founding teams, early capital, and someone to walk the distance between a result and a product.

So we built the structure. A venture studio that sits beside researchers and entrepreneurs, negotiates the lab access and the IP, assembles the founding team, writes the first cheque — and stays in the room until the company stands on its own.

“The lab is full of companies waiting to exist. Our job is to get them out.”

HOW WE WORK
01 Science first Diligence stands on data and reproducibility, not narrative. If the result holds, everything else can be built.
02 Founders beside researchers We pair commercial founders with the people who made the breakthrough — both on the cap table, both in the room.
03 Patient, structured capital Deep tech moves on milestones, not months. Our capital and our timelines respect that.
04 Lagos as launchpad Built in Lekki, aimed at global markets. The constraint is the advantage.
